Happy 2009

I'm home from our "Borders outing" thing. (: I've met new friends and gotten closer to existing ones. Happy New Year everyone! And the photos I promised from December will be uploaded soon along with last night/this morning's photos. (:

Last night/this morning was fun, filled with booze & laughing gas, to put it simply. :D (I didn't drink or participate in the laughing gas activity. I'm a good girl okay!)

We spent most of last night on a field near Raffles Hospital. It was an experience. (:

I love the Borders colleagues, and also my school friends & church friends of course.

I hope 2009 isn't as shitty as 2008. -fingers crossed- 2008 has been a VERY trying & mentally & physically draining year. I have cried more in 2008 than in other years. The stress from the O levels, misunderstandings & what nots. There were more downs than ups for me. An "up" in 2008 would be working in Borders. I've met awesome people I now call Friends and not mere colleagues. I'll update this when I think of more "ups". Right now, my brain's too dead-ish.

2009 would mark new beginnings. New school (if I pass my Os), new friends, I'll be 18(so old right), officially legal, and (yay for my soon to have) Driver's license.

Oh and this morning, a tree branch fell off the tree and blocked the entire road near my house. There were like ten or so public buses parked alongside the curb along with many many policemen. What a way to start the year off right? A very very bad sign eh. -.-"
