Musings

As John 12:20-30 speaks "For those who love their lives will lose it, and those who hate their lives will keep it for life eternal"

Insecurities eat you inside out, they could drive you to suicide at the very most. If so, what's left of the pretty insides, your pretty little heart? Does that mean, we become ugly inside and out, your pretty heart becomes ugly and cold and lifeless? And hence, become ugly disgusting don't-ever-show-your-face-out-in-public-ever people as defined by Hollywood and personality quizzes. Insecurities make you hate yourself = hate your life. So according to John you'll have to keep this life you hate forever. Is it all worth it darling?

And another thing, "why care about what other people think/say about you when God exists and he loves and accepts you unconditionally because you are his Child, his creation created in his likeness?"

You care about what other people say or think because you are insecure about yourself. You have low self-esteem, you hate yourself because of your flaws.

Somehow, this seems to be directed towards me. Not wanting to sound all christian on you, but the bolded statements really kicked me in the face.
