Sometimes I think we forget to be grateful for every material thing we own and for our family and friends. Even I am guilty as charged. We are constantly running out of the house, running to places. We rush to the bus stop, catch the bus and then catch the MRT. Along the way, we run past trees and flowers, birds, buildings, fellow human beings big and small. With a constant frown on our faces, we greet the day and think. Always thinking of a better life, a better day. As they say, the grass is always greener on the other side, but when you're on the other side, somehow everything seems all brown and you wonder why things aren't green as we're all taught to believe.
I feel that we never have enough time for anything. Even when we think we do, we waste it away unconsciously since we're all friends with Mr Procrastination. I think he's my best friend really. My e learning shizz is no where near done. Let's not get me started on my joke of an essay. It's only 1/4 completed. HA.
I think the saying "you never know what you've got till it's gone" is indeed apt. As cliche as this may sound, it is apt. I apologise for being cliche and I always try not to be. But I would want a fairy tale ending. (I know you want one too, stop lying to yourself)
Carrick: Hi baby! (awkward pause) I'm calling you, to say I love you, okay bye!
Hehe my boyfriend is so awkward.
